What role does an SAP Basis consultant have?
An SAP Basis consultant plays an active role in one or more of our three primary areas of expertise: Advisory, Consultancy, and Operations, which we cover at Sapbasis.
In this role, they may assist in SAP projects such as transitions, migrations, implementations, installations, upgrades, or patching of SAP.
However, at Sapbasis, an SAP Basis consultant also has a passion for making complex projects easy. It is a significant asset if the role involves quickly acquiring knowledge and skills in new technology, methodologies, and tools.
Meet our colleague René Lysdal Nissen.
Meet René Lysdal Nissen – one of our competent and dedicated colleagues who has over 12 years of experience in SAP operations and projects, including traditional disciplines such as upgrades, migrations, and installations.
René has previously worked as an operations manager but in recent years has chosen to primarily focus on the role of a technical project leader and specializing in SAP Solution Manager.
His knowledge of SAP and IT in general, combined with the ability to be a proactive technical partner based on the customer’s needs along the way, makes René an excellent collaborator. As an experienced SAP consultant, René ensures the provision of expertise, guidance, and scalable resources for the customer’s SAP project, which can be highly beneficial for the customer. This forms the basis for the customer to successfully complete the SAP project.
